Who is Rebecca Loos
Rebecca Loos has hardly left our TV screens, since being catapulted into the limelight after revelations about her affair with one of the world’s top footballers. She continues to make front page news, where now her personality is emerging. Through hard work and determination, Rebecca has successfully established herself as a versatile and talented model, presenter and actress.
Away from the limelight, Rebecca has a keen interest in keeping fit through sports like skiing, tennis, swimming, fitness, aerobics and running like the physical preparations for her participation in the 2006 London Marathon as member of the Red Cross charity Team. She has a passion for classic cars, motor sports and adventure, having as a child spent weekends attending Rally’s with her Father. She loves travelling and discovering new countries and cultures around the globe.
Academically having covered A-level education and Business Studies at University level, she also speaks four languages and loves to keep her mind active, particularly immersing in a good book or film. She was able to discretely witness the Academy Awards Oscar celebrations scene from close by and is completed professional tuition in presenting and acting.
TV shows
Rebecca is more than comfortable in front of the camera where her warmth, humour and positive energy shine through, as displayed in shows such as ‘Celebrity Love Island’ for Channel 5, during her special guest appearance on one of Veronica TV’s top shows and ‘The Farm’ where she spent three weeks with ten other celebrities proving her determination to succeed, in a bid to win the title of ‘top farmer’.
Rebecca also took part in ITV’s ‘Celebrity Detox’, where she survived with various other celebrities on a remote island. Subjected to various soul searching and strenuous tasks, in very basic living conditions, Rebecca showed her true strength of her character and will. Her striking looks and elegant charm have won her various presenting/acting roles, including a Sky One documentary, ‘Power Lesbians’ which she authored in Los Angeles. She hosted Show News, for SBS Holland, a celebrity chat show. She plaid the part of Naomi Watts, psychiatrist on Sky One’s football drama ‘Dream Team’ and she also hosted Channel 4’s ‘Top-100 TV Moments’.
Rebecca was asked to host Sky Active’s ‘Doctor Date’ and ‘Koopid’, a dating show, alongside co-host Stewart Castledine, and has recently finished filming VH1’s Celebrity round-up for 2005. Apart from the TV appearances in the UK she regularly does Spanish TV shows on Antena3 and TVE1, interviews in Holland, Ireland, Austria and the US and life radio work in all of those countries and with public broadcasts as far as Latin America, Asia and globally via satellite. These shows illuminate Rebecca’s natural flair as a personable presenter with mass appeal, whose charismatic presence appeals to a wide and international public.
Rebecca is also a warm and generous individual with a real love for children and animals and especially those in distress or need! She regularly donates to various charities like Save the Children, the RCPCA, the Children’s Hospice, World Vision, Save the Monkey, the Tsunami Relief Fund and more.
Yet, Rebecca’s life is fast paced, full of danger and romance, and has a surprise waiting around each corner which is tackled with typical flair!
