Kelly Marie is known as a disco-queen from the 80’s.
Kelly was born in Paisley, Scotland. When she was 18 she left Scotland and headed for London where she was offered a recording contract. She worked with Mungo Jerry (IN THE SUMMERTIME). He composed her first hit FEELS LIKE I’M IN LOVE in 1980 which went gold. In 1981 she scored two top 20 hits LOVING JUST FOR FUN and HOT LOVE, not only becoming hits in England but also Australia and the USA placed these numbers on the hit list. In 1982 her debut album reached the US disco charts and that resulted in her first tour of the USA. When she was 25 she met Metin, married and had 6 children. Her career was put on hold for about 10 years. In 1997 Kelly signed a new recording deal and has since has been touring Europe. She is at the moment in the studio working on a new album with covers from Robbie Williams, The Corrs and Bette Midler.
