Eurobeat is back again. JOY, the “biggest” pop band, is touring again. If we say “big”, we mean “tall”. The musicians around Freddy Jay are between 189 and 196 cm. JOY started in the beginning of the eighties and by the mid-eighties they had entertained people all over the world with their type of music. In 1985 they toured Asia (Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan etc.) and in 1988 and 1994 they toured the U.S.A. From the beginning of the nineties they started to tour Russia, where they became very popular. Since 1998 they have been touring Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Portugal. They released several records and most of them became hits. At the end of the eighties they released, with a lot of success, their “Best of” album.
