Starting out his musical career seriously in ’98 in the music-circuit, performing with a hiphop group. They made some noise locally, after breaking up because of musical differences..
In the meanwhile Mystique developed more as a complete dj. “I have no problem in being classified as a party dj”, says Mystique, that’s my passion and base. He loves to experiment and fuse with different genres of music, to do something different. He brings eclectic beats, mash-up, dirty house and latin beats mixed with a hiphop twist . This way of blending styles has become his trademark, building up a live reputation and steady fanbase.
Mystique’s pioneering style “urban eclectic” got noticed by the biggest promoters such as: MTV Networks, Fever, I LOVE TECHNO, TMF, ID&T, 5voor12, Gentse feesten, Sfinx festival, orkest van vlaanderen, Antilliaanse feesten, Eskimo, Polé polé, Culture club, Café d’anvers etc.
His name is linked to many highprofiled residencies/events throughout the country:
Rendez-Fou,Deja-Vu,TMF Coolsweat, Laundry Day,Mobnights,Tomorrowland, JIM Fabulicious, Issues,Love Below, PURE.
He performed in several countries ( Spain, Italy, France, Lithaunia, Germany, Holland, Marocco).
He has shared the stage with international urban top artists such as Nina Sky, Fat Man Scoop, Truth Hurts, Erick Sermon (EPMD), Clipse (startrak ent), Postmen, Scratch perverts, Maceo (de la soul), Cutkiller, Jazzy Jeff, Cashmoney, Starflam, Dj Vadim,Xela,Robin S, Laidback Luke etc.
He has produced mix-cd’s, and is preparing several music productions : Busy Like That & Miami is not Ibiza.
