Cliff Jones is a Dutch DJ who started as a resident DJ in a large beach club in the ‘90s. After having worked as an all-round resident DJ for a number of years, he developed a passion for house music and decided to focus exclusively on house. Cliff spread his wings by working in numerous different clubs and discothèques while he also got booked for several big parties. After having spun other people’s records for a number of years, Jones, in 2006, organised his career more efficiently by creating his own music. His first own production was received with great enthusiasm. His track titled ‘Rock It’ was his debut hit. When ‘Rock It’ was released, it rushed to the top of the Dutch dance charts. ‘Rock It’ was also included on several well-known Dutch compilation dance CD’s. This debut hit left Cliff wanting more and so he devoted himself to producing his own music. His next release also made it’s way to the charts. Nowadays, he has had several successful releases, including his track ‘Who’s Hot’. This track inspired DJ Chuckie, amongst others, and became such a hit that, in July 2010, Cliff travelled to downtown New York to record it’s video. It’s successor is also expected to be the real deal. Shortly after the release, ‘Body to Body’ has been included on the compilation CD’s ‘TMF Dance CD Volume 2’, ‘Miami WMC 2011 Essential Sounds’ and ‘20 Years Carré The Compilation’.
Besides his production skills, Cliff’s DJ skills also haven’t gone unnoticed during the last couple of years. He is capable of connecting with any audience. His DJ-sets vary depending on the type of audience, or the place or time of his performance.
Cliff himself finds it difficult to name his sound. “Warm House” is how he would like to describe his own style and this is reflected in his music choice. His main style can best be described as a mixture of harmonic, groovy, sexy and pumping house. He has a natural instinct when it comes to working the crowd. While during an informal or beach party you can expect top-notch sultry house, Cliff just as easily stimulates his audience during a massive house party with a set of seriously pumping and uplifting house! Summarized, we can say that Cliff Jones, armed with a recordbag filled with various types of house music, equals a sublime quality of house which embraces different house styles.

That Cliff Jones isn’t idle is a fact. In 2010 he has started his own successful concept called “Devoted to House”. Together with a team of driven artists, they mainly focus on the warmer, more mature house tunes which they enthusiastically and persuasively convey to their audience on the “Devoted to House Nights”.
