Anastasija started playing violin when she was 5 years old. Early years were already very successful for her as the first “grand prix” prize in national competition she won she was 7 years old. Till her 11th she toured around Europe and Russia as soloist as well with projects and ensembles of her school.
From her 16th Anastasija began to perform professionally as a Jazz violinist. She played in all main Jazz festivals around Baltic States as a soloist, won several grand prizes as well as performed with her band “Anastasija‘s Sound Factory”. She also performed in different stages with famous artists like Christian Mc Bride, the band of Kenny Garrett, Jean Luc Ponty, Ronald Snijders and many more, as well as all the main artists of Baltic States.
During those years Anastasija discovered her love and passion for house and electronic music. She began performing in clubs and festivals. Right away she got invitations as residency artist in several clubs as well as began again touring around Europe.
In 2005 Anastasija moved to The Netherlands. Already 2004 she visited The Netherlands to give performances. Later she decided to move to Rotterdam to study at CODARTS Jazz Violin department.
During these bachelor conservatory years also again as a classical violinist Anastasija played many various great projects as a soloist as well as ensemble leader or concertmaster. She performed in concert halls like “De Doelen”, “Concertgebouw” and all the main Schouwburg theatres in The Netherlands.
As a Jazz player Anastasija continued as participating in various Jazz and crossover world and pop music projects and bands. Won prizes and went on tours, performed in festivals like “North Sea Jazz”, “Den Haag Jazz” and many more.
But she also began to develop new occupation as a composer and arranger. Right away she applied these new qualities in all her projects, arranging and composing especially “string sections” for different projects and studio sessions, albums for artists and festivals. Like “GMB Gery Mendes”, “Boost festival” and many more.
Till this day Anastasija is known as professional life improvisation artist. Going regularly on tours with best house and Techno DJs around Europe, Russia and Saudi Arabia, with DJs like La Fuente, Miss Monica, Rulex, Wally Lopez, Funkerman, Dave Lambert and many more. Performed in all the best stages and festivals like Extrema and Dance Valley, Heineken music hall etc.
Today as a classical player Anastasija is in process of her Master study at Codarts. As well as leader for several ensembles and string quartets, recording solo violin pieces and sonatas for piano and violin.
As a live improvisation artist Anastasija participates not only as house and electronic music artist, but also professional theatre and television. In 2012 Anastasija went on tour to all main Schouwburg theatres with “Het Zuidelijk Toneel”, Ashton Brothers and Marc Marie Huijbregts in theatre play “Vertellingen van 1001 nacht”.
At this day Anastasija is busy creating her own live show “T.R.I.P” being toured in upcoming season in 2012 around Europe, will release several pop and house music singles, continue arranging and composing for up-coming artists of Europe, Africa, Russia and Baltic States and performing as life improvisation artist in festivals and music halls.
Also as a teacher, giving master classes for young string players to improvise and participate in “non-classical” music world. Also, in corporation with her school Codarts, to research and possibly develop a new violin method for “modern violinist”.
